Coloring my furusato...

I run to Terminal Island sometimes, this drawing is my reaction to it's current state.  Grandma and her siblings grew up there after my great grandparents immigrated from Wakayama-ken, Japan in the early 1900's.   A large Japanese-American community once lived there before WW2.  In 2011, Terminal Island is one of the world's largest loading docks (POLA + POLB) for items coming and going to the West Coast.
