My new old bike

Purchased a bike today from a gentleman named Vince (714-612-9081), and picked up the thing from a place in Costa Mesa (519 Bernard Street, Costa Mesa, CA 92627). Here is a copy of the posting:

This is the third Schwinn Collegiate I have owned. By far the most beat-up and highest paid to date. Now fanatical about this model, I lacked patience in finding another gem at the swap-meet, buckled and bought it when Vince called me today. Well sale is definitely impacted by the Great Recession: more people riding bicycles, the popularity of "vintage" bikes is high, and sellers are raising the price. Therefore this time around, instead of having the local bike shop repairs, I am going to do my best to clean-up, preserve, and possibly repair the bike myself. I will be tracking progress here from time to time.
